Job summary

The Maintenance Technician at ISS Facility Services - North America is responsible for repairs and maintenance across the company building, administrative and warehouse areas. You will be the key contact for emergencies that affect operations and must prioritize safety for employees, assets, and clients daily.

You will perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks, monitor contractors, and work with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed to specification.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience.
• Must understand how things work (facility-related).
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building, respond to emergencies 24/7.
• Monitor and replace light bulbs as needed across facilities.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work meets specifications.
