Job summary

The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians seeks a dedicated maintenance worker for the JTNP area in Twentynine Palms, CA. The role covers general upkeep of tribal buildings and grounds, with collaboration across departments and engineering personnel to deliver reliable, Five Star service to guests and team members.

Responsibilities include basic repairs using mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing skills, plus assisting with project planning and compliance with MICS/TICS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year related experience and / or training.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and employees by exceeding mission statement.
• Maintain operating condition of Tribal entities' buildings and equipment and complete simple repairs.
• Assist in planning tribal projects, remodeling, and monitor jobs completed by outside contractors.
• Ground maintenance and safety compliance per OSHA guidelines.
