Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Worker for The Domain in Austin, TX. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems, along with interior and exterior upkeep of the center.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in building maintenance, with aHigh School Diploma or GED, and ideally Technical School certifications. Valid driver's license required; availability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Technical School certifications preferred.
• 2–3 years of building maintenance experience with carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing duties.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and schematics; communicate effectively with management, tenants and vendors.
• Paint, drywall, electrical, plumbing skills; knowledge of safety rules and accident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and troubleshoot/repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance such as painting, drywall, lighting, plumbing repairs and cleaning.
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and maintain logs/records.
• Assist with event setup, cart placement, and coordination with Marketing and Local Leasing as needed.
• Maintain inventory, tools, MSDS files and safety compliance; operate custodial tasks as required.
