Job summary

Simon Property Group, Philadelphia Premium Outlets, seeks a maintenance technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and building components.

The role requires inspecting facilities, performing interior/exterior upkeep, and assisting with events and cart placement. Candidates should have 2–3 years of relevant maintenance experience and a solid grasp of safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical school certifications or training preferred.
• 2–3 years building maintenance experience including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and troubleshoot/repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and structural elements.
• Perform maintenance/minor repairs on interior/exterior areas including painting, drywall, lighting, and plumbing repairs.
• Operate equipment to perform preventive maintenance and keep area clean.
• Assist Marketing to set up events and Local Leasing with cart placement/repairs.
• Follow OSHA and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned.
• Maintain inventory, MSDS, supplies, equipment and tools.
