Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Worker at Auburn Mall to troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems. The role covers interior and exterior upkeep, painting, lighting, carpentry, and safe operations in a large retail center.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of building maintenance experience, read plans and schematics, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Expect a 40-hour schedule with some evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training valued.
• 2–3 years building maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
• Ability to read plans and schematics; interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance including painting, drywall, lighting, and carpentry.
• Maintain logs and safety records; follow OSHA standards.
• Assist events setup and cart placement/repair as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
