MSI Express, INC presents a Facility Maintenance Technician role based in Portage, Indiana. The candidate will handle general building upkeep, including HVAC, water, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to ensure reliable facility operations.

Responsibilities cover preventative maintenance, equipment servicing, safety checks, reporting, and responding to security/alarm calls, with additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Ability to work specified shift.
• Ability to work for the set wage amount.
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift/move product that may weigh up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop or crouch frequently in the course of the shift.
• Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to properly use hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at higher elevations.

Responsabilités

• Maintain HVAC system.
• Do minor maintenance as needed for water and electrical repairs.
• Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide maintenance to material handling equipment to ensure service reliability.
• Perform maintenance or general carpentry on items such as floors, walls, doors, etc.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Complete required reports when maintenance tasks are completed.
• Answer security/alarm calls as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
