Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems. You will inspect, repair, and service building equipment, document activities, and react quickly to issues to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred vocational credentials in a trade.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Complete installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and report issues.
• Provide training to entry-level technicians and assist their development.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized work.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly with minimal downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
