Job summary

Iws-Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time on-site role in Newark, NJ. The position runs 8am to 4:30pm and pays $22.00/hr. The technician will perform general repairs and preventative maintenance across the school facilities.

Responsibilities include assisting with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and sheetrock, installing and repairing equipment, and reporting work to the Facilities Manager while collaborating with staff and outside contractors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Carpentry, painting, and sheetrock experience.
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
