Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support our healthcare facilities, equipment, and grounds. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across HMC and related properties, with emphasis on safety and patient environment.

The ideal candidate has a solid general maintenance background, comfort with a range of tasks, and preference for HVAC experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices and ability to perform routine tasks.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a healthcare environment.
• Willingness to be within a 30-minute drive for on-call duty.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and systems.
• Maintain electrical systems, mechanical equipment, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Perform general building and preventive maintenance across facilities.
• Light carpentry, furniture installation and basic construction tasks as needed.
• Prepare work areas for renovations and facility projects.
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist with emergencies per safety procedures.
• Maintain grounds, lawn equipment, and seasonal exterior upkeep.
