Job summary

in Collaborative is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, and project delivery across hospital facilities. You will lead routine and preventive maintenance, coordinate vendors, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have 3–5 years hospital facilities experience, knowledge of HVAC/electrical/plumbing, and strong organizational and communication skills. MS 365 proficiency is required and a collaborative, proactive mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Facilities Management preferred.
• 3-5 years facilities maintenance experience in hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Adaptable and effective in dynamic operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure facility systems are operating efficiently (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting).
• Conduct facility inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Manage maintenance schedules and service records.
• Coordinate vendor services and monitor contract performance.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors for safe, efficient services.
• Manage work orders from initiation to completion.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and safety.
• Coordinate facility improvement projects, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Track project status and communicate updates to leadership.
