Walmart in Hibbing, MN is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep of stores, equipment, and fixtures. You'll work under the General Maintenance Manager to follow schedules, inspect, clean, and repair facilities.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the FMCSA, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by utilizing multiple craft skills (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment).
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
