Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Princeton, MN store. The role involves performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safety and high standards of the store facilities and equipment.

Under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you will work across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, using hand and power tools to complete tasks. A valid driver’s license and 1–2 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area; or 4 years’ experience in the same trades.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment).
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair work orders.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues and ensure safe operation.
