Job summary

Walmart seeks a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at its Princeton, MN store to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections ensuring safety, functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, and fixtures. Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by FMCSR, in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive reactive repair work orders and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely
