PennEngineering is seeking a motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Team in Danboro, PA. You’ll perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and general upkeep to ensure a safe, efficient facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as handyman or carpenter in manufacturing.
• Strong carpentry skills for repairs and construction.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and maintenance knowledge.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.
• Proactive, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform knock-out tasks, including final touches on plant installations and workspace improvements.
• Complete carpentry projects such as building and repairing structures, cabinets, and shelving.
• Execute painting and surface preparation tasks for plant walls and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the plant including plumbing and minor electricals.
• Assist with maintaining overall appearance and functionality of the plant.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of tools and materials.
• Adhere to plant safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.
