Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid WV driver's license.
• Reliable transportation to commute between Valley operated facilities.
• Able to read and comprehend easy to moderately complex instructions.
• Basic proficiency with carpentry, plumbing and electrical tools.
• Able to lift up to 150 pounds and work in adverse conditions occasionally.
• Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks.
• Comply with Clients Rights and agency safety procedures.
• Read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance: mowing, weeds, snow removal, and equipment upkeep.
• Building upkeep and carpentry repairs such as molding replacement and other repairs or renovations.
• Repair and upkeep of plumbing fixtures and water heaters.
• Interior and exterior painting and staining per schedules.
• Drywall repairs and finishing for painting or wallpaper.
• Light electrical work and upgrades.
• Maintain facilities at all Valley locations.
• Travel to all Valley sites to perform duties.
• Assist in moving furniture and relocation between locations.
• Light vehicle maintenance and record-keeping in vehicle logs.
• Maintain gas furnaces and air-conditioning units.
• Monitor and use equipment and supplies properly.
• Support training of new employees.
• Attend trainings and mandated meetings.
