Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a multi-skilled maintenance technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting. A minimum of four years of experience and a high school diploma are required.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with union benefits included. Based in Virginia, the role offers hourly pay and benefits per the collective bargaining agreement, with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of general maintenance and repair experience across trades.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings with plaster or compound.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Paint floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hang doors and install locks.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
