Job summary

ABM Industries is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support a commercial facility in Burlington, MA. This role performs general building maintenance, responds to service requests, and assists with routine upkeep to keep spaces and equipment safe, functional, and well‑maintained for daily operations.

The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in general maintenance and a willingness to learn within an onsite facilities team.

Qualifications

General maintenance experience and ability to perform routine tasks.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry systems.
Willingness to learn in a facilities environment and work onsite.
Ability to use standard maintenance tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform routine general maintenance throughout the facility, including minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and lighting.
Support preventive maintenance programs on building systems and equipment.
Assist with basic troubleshooting of HVAC components such as filters, belts, and thermostats.
Complete work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct regular inspections of facility spaces and mechanical areas, reporting deficiencies as needed.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, including equipment and mechanical rooms.
Provide customer-focused support to building occupants and onsite teams.
Follow all ABM safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.
