Job summary

Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation in Omak, WA is seeking a Custodian to perform routine building maintenance, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general cleaning. This role supports Facilities staff through minor repairs, inspections, and space reconfiguration to optimize office layouts.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 5 years of work experience, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility for tribal insurance.

Qualifications

Requires a HS diploma and 5 years’ work experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Requires a valid driver’s license.
Requires eligibility for tribal insurance coverage.
Requires a background clearance and required to maintain clearance throughout employment.
Requires the ability to read blueprints and interpret diagrams.

Responsibilities

Perform routine building maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general cleaning.
Assist with minor repairs and inspections of the Government facility.
Reconfigure and remount modular offices and spaces to optimize layout.
Paint surfaces and maintain wood and metal parts to prevent corrosion.
Operate hand and power tools and maintain safety while working indoors and outdoors.
