Job summary

Walmart in Medford, WI is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets across the store. You will perform routine tasks under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, following schedules and safety guidelines to keep the store safe and welcoming.

The role requires vocational or technical certification or equivalent experience in trades such as plumbing or electrical, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a vocational/technical certification with 3 years' experience in trades or 5 years' experience in trades.
• A valid driver’s license is required and CDL eligibility may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use the work order system to document repairs and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure safety and reliability.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in trades or 5 years' experience in trades

Valid Driver's License
