Job summary

Calvary Healing Center is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to manage the physical plant and grounds, performing maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. The role includes painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, light HVAC, inspections, and preventive maintenance, with janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 2 years of technical or trade school.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo a Motor Vehicle Driving Record check.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
• Completion of Verbal De‑Escalation Training within 30 days of employment.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience operating hand/power tools with proper safety precautions.
• Understanding of Ohm’s Law and refrigeration theory.
• Experience in building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.
• Experience reading blueprints and knowledge of Life Safety Code and OSHA regulations.

Full‑time position (40 hours per week) at Calvary Healing Center (Calvary) offers full benefits and varies shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage the physical plant, including maintenance and grounds‑keeping while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and government regulatory agencies.
• Perform tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, testing and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventative maintenance and janitorial duties.
• Work directly with the Director of Plant Operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred 2 years of technical or trade school.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo a Motor Vehicle Driving Record check.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid certification within 30 days of employment.
