Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix. This full-time role supports the maintenance of the physical plant, performing painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, inspections, and preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2 years of technical or trade school preferred.
• Valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Driving Record in good standing.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days.
• Completion of Verbal De-Escalation Training within 30 days.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience with hand/power tools and equipment with proper safety precautions.
• Understanding of Ohm's Law and refrigeration theory.
• Experience in building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.
• Experience with reading blueprints and Life Safety Code and OSHA Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Paint, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and light HVAC tasks.
• Test and inspect physical plant equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform janitorial duties with minimal supervision.
• Maintain compliance with applicable codes and government regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Plant Operations on daily tasks.

For over 60 years, Calvary Healing Center has provided a full continuum of care, specializing in addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area and Nationwide. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers onsite detoxification and in-patient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Facilities Maintenance Technician General Purpose:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing the physical plant including maintenance and grounds keeping while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government regulatory agencies, while working alongside the Director of Plant Operations. This person will perform a variety of tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventative maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision
