Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a facilities maintenance technician at our Mequon, Wisconsin location to ensure a safe, organized work environment for 1,000+ employees. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general mechanical maintenance across building systems.

You will read prints, operate aerial lifts and forklifts, use SAP/Office tools, and coordinate with contractors. On-call availability and adherence to ISO/standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing repairs including faucets, valves, pipes, and drainage.
• Electrical repair skills for lighting and equipment; use of tools like a Fluke meter.
• Carpentry for fixtures, doors, walls, and furniture repairs.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for production equipment.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read prints and mechanical drawings.
• Operate aerial lifts and industrial fork trucks.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, SAP; maintain preventive maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintains organized, safe work environment for 1,000+ employees at Mequon location.
• Responds to work orders and coordinates with service contractors.
• Supervises or assists in capital projects and renovations.
• Works onsite five days a week and participates in on-call activities.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
