Rockwell Automation in Mequon, WI seeks an Industrial Facilities Mechanic to maintain building systems for 1,000+ employees. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Facilities Supervisor and involves owning maintenance tasks, coordinating vendors, and ensuring safety.

You’ll diagnose plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical issues, read prints, operate aerial lifts and forklifts, and use Word, Excel, SAP to manage preventive maintenance and work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to coordinate service vendors and outside contractors.
• Background with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and roofing projects.

Responsibilities

• Fix plumbing issues and drainage problems; fixtures and valves.
• Resolve electrical needs for lighting and equipment; diagnose with a Fluke meter.
• Perform carpentry repairs for fixtures, doors, walls, and furniture.
• Conduct mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Read prints and mechanical drawings to support layouts and expansions.
• Operate aerial lifts and industrial forklift trucks; use MS Word, Excel, and SAP to manage PMs and work orders.
• Participate in on-call support outside standard hours as needed.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Mequon, WI (five days per week), reporting to the Facilities Supervisor.
