Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years related experience preferred.
• Technical training in facilities maintenance areas preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance tasks to keep facilities neat, clean and orderly and completes preventive maintenance.
• Performs routine repairs to plant and equipment, including more complex tasks.
• Directs assistants in maintenance tasks when appropriate.
• Assists in preparing specifications for outside service contractors for complex repairs.
• Maintains safe operating conditions and complies with inspection requirements from insurers or consultants.
• Suggests changes and improvements to the physical plant, including remodeling or refurbishing.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
