Job summary

The Consortium of Jewish Day Schools is seeking a reliable Handyman to support the Facilities Department, handling repairs and maintenance across the campus.

Work hours are Sunday-Thursday, 11:00am-7:00pm, with a focus on keeping buildings and grounds safe and functional for students and staff.

The role requires practical skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and basic carpentry, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, proactive and able to perform general repairs and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of painting, spackling, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Valid driver's license; black seal license preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance across buildings and grounds.
• Complete minor projects as assigned.
• Address service requests from staff and stakeholders.
