Job summary

Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia seeks a skilled Building Superintendent to maintain a large, multi-use facility, handling daily upkeep and urgent maintenance needs. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in building maintenance or related field.
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Ability to respond to urgent maintenance needs professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry, painting, and patching.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and complete repairs in a timely and safe manner.
• Inspect building systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime.
• Set up and break down rooms and equipment for events and daily operations.
