Job summary

American Rheinmetall is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance across residential and commercial facilities. You will handle carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and routine upkeep, while ensuring safety and keeping accurate records.

The role requires at least 2 years in building maintenance, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and ability to work independently while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general building maintenance and repair experience.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
• Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work with appropriate tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of facilities; respond to work orders and maintain records.
• Carry out carpentry, electrical, masonry, plumbing, and janitorial tasks as needed.
• Paint interior surfaces and move/ arrange furniture and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness of interiors and exteriors; monitor safety checks and alarms.
