Job summary

Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) seeks a Fire Technician II to inspect, test, and repair fire protection systems to ensure life safety and compliance on the Guam work site.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience with fire safety systems, NICET II certification, and the ability to work independently or within a team. Union-represented, full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience installing, inspecting, maintaining, or repairing fire alarm/safety systems.
• NICET Level II Certification required.
• ICC or NAFED Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm, detection, suppression, and life safety systems.
• Service systems in mission-critical facilities (hangars, server rooms, kitchens).
• Document inspections and maintenance with CMMS or reporting systems.
• Complete required training and certifications on time.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship with excellent customer service.
