Job summary

Intersect Healthcare in Detroit seeks an Environmental Services Technician responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production facility equipment to support safety and productive operations.

Duties include floor care (stripping, waxing, buffing), preventive maintenance inspections, equipment checks, and coordinating with the EVS Manager and staff to plan repairs and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in a comparable position preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care including stripping, waxing and buffing.
• Carry out preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Check exhaust ventilators, HVAC units, filters, and air handlers.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in work areas.
• Assist with emergency procedures and security inspections.
