Job summary

Bluejack National is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our community's buildings and amenities in top condition. You will diagnose issues across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, carpentry, drywall and other systems, performing preventative maintenance and ensuring safety and reliability.

You will deliver outstanding service to residents, work with a close-knit team, and uphold our professional image and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years related building maintenance experience.
• Technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Must be able to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and correspondence skills with the ability to maintain sound working relationships with residents, management, staff, ownership, prospective buyers, and vendors.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with a team, with attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Perform preventative maintenance to equipment and facilities to ensure safety and reliability.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents.
• Communicate and effectively work with fellow team members.
• Conduct oneself professionally and maintain a professional image.
• Attend relevant operational meetings.
• Maintain safety and protect company property per OSHA rules.
