Job summary

Bluejack National is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our community's buildings and amenities in top condition. You will diagnose issues across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, carpentry, drywall and other systems, performing preventative maintenance and ensuring safety and reliability.

You will deliver outstanding service to residents, work with a close-knit team, and uphold our professional image and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years related building maintenance experience.
• Technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Must be able to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and correspondence skills with the ability to maintain sound working relationships with residents, management, staff, ownership, prospective buyers, and vendors.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with a team, with attention to quality and detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Perform preventative maintenance to equipment and facilities, to make sure they are safe and mechanically sound.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all residents.
• Communicate and effectively work together with your fellow team members.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
• Attend all relevant operational meetings.
• Perform duties with due regard for safety of self and fellow employees while exercising proper care and protection of company property.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years related building maintenance experience.
• Technical knowledge in the following areas: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Must be able to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and a computerized maintenance management system involving preventative maintenance,
• Strong communication and correspondence skills with the ability to maintain sound working relationships and communications with members, management, staff, ownership, prospective buyers, and vendors.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with a team, attention to quality and detail.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:

Full time may require weekdays, weekends, and Holidays. Schedule flexible as business dictates.
