In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of the assigned facility. Your daily routine will blend essential facility upkeep—including waste management and trash removal with hands-on preventative maintenance on facility HVAC systems. This is an ideal role for an entry-to-mid-level professional with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys an active, varied workday in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collect trash and recyclables from designated areas within the facility.
• Sorting waste materials according to recycling guidelines and disposing of them appropriately.
• Emptying trash bins and replacing liners as needed to prevent overflow.
• Monitoring and reporting any issues or hazards related to waste disposal, such as spills or leaks.
• May perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance, restocking paper towels, tissue and other supplies.

Qualifications: Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, push, pull, or lift up to 75 pounds.

May be subjected to varying levels of noise, air quality, lighting, and exposure to the elements.

Will have contact with biohazardous materials and chemicals commonly used in the janitorial industry

Will have contact with latex products including gloves.
