Job summary

WaterStone Bank is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support daily and preventative maintenance across all bank locations and leased properties. You will assist with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks, learn building automation, and handle on-call flexibility.

The role requires basic computer skills, experience in commercial maintenance, and the ability to travel between sites. High school diploma and willingness to learn CMMS are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial office maintenance.
• High School diploma required.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn CMMS and other programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily and ongoing preventative maintenance of all WaterStone Bank locations and rented properties.
• Support HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance and building automation.
• Respond to on-call duties and travel between locations.
• Back up Mail Room Courier duties.
• Support security-related tasks as needed.

Job description

This role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor; an individual in this role will assist with the daily and ongoing preventative maintenance of all WSB locations and any rented properties.

What you'll be doing in the Facilities Maintenance Technician position:

• Knowledge and basic experience with HVAC, ability to learn or know building automation controls.
• Basic electrical skills, light fixture change out, ballasts, bulbs
• Plumbing skills, toilet repair, faucet repair/replace, drain cleaning
• Understanding of security aspects and importance of why
• Shared on call responsibility
• Flexible work hours
• Trouble shooting ability
• Other duties as assigned
• Back up for Mail Room Courier duties

Working conditions
