CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a critical healthcare facility. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems while working Monday to Friday during day shifts.

The role includes participation in an on-call rotation to ensure continuous support and patient safety through quick, expert response. You will inspect assets, assist with equipment installations, and coordinate with teams to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic software tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair routine issues; ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Conduct general facilities maintenance including plumbing and lighting tasks.
• Regularly check assets (doors, electrical, HVAC, plumbing) for condition and safety.
• Assist in installing/modifying building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and coordinate completion with available systems.

About The Role

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, ensuring critical facility systems and equipment operate flawlessly for a leading healthcare client. Working Monday to Friday during day shifts, you’ll perform diverse maintenance tasks, from preventative checks to complex repairs, creating a safe and efficient environment for all. This vital role includes participation in an on‑call rotation, offering the chance to provide continuous support and directly impact patient care through your technical expertise and responsiveness.

What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.


• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.


• Perform general commercial facilities maintenance, including plumbing repairs, light electrical work, and other routine building upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operations.


• Conduct regular checks on facility assets, including doors, electrical systems, HVAC units, and plumbing fixtures.


• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.


• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.


• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.


• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.


• Valid Driver’s License Required.


• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.


• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.


• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.


• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position is $20.19 per hour and the maximum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position is $24.18 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
