Job summary

Staffmark Group in Vandalia, OH is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) for 3 pm–11 pm, Mon–Fri. Pay rate is $30.00–$34.00 per hour. The role starts on 1st shift during a 90-day training period and moves to 2nd shift with some weekends.

Responsibilities include inspect/maintain/repair machines and perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, pumps, motors, and processing equipment. Desirable experience includes FDA-regulated environments and familiarity with Blue Mtn CMMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Experience in Food, Pharmaceutical, and/or FDA-regulated environments is desirable.
• Experience in working with Blue Mtn CMMS is desirable.
• 1st shift training (8:00–4:30) then 2nd shift (3:00–11:30) with some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair machines that keep the shop moving.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment, water purification systems, pumps, motors, compressors, and processing equipment.
• Hunt down problems before they stop production – and fix them when they do.
• Handle schematics to keep operations humming.
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the crew to keep things safe, steady, and efficient.

Gear Up for the Job:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write the English language fluently
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance
• Experience working in Food, Pharmaceutical, and/or FDA-regulated environments is desirable
• Experience in working w/Blue Mtn CMMS is desirable
• Will start out on 1st shift (90-day training period, 8-430pm, Mon-Fri), then change to 2nd shift (3-1130pm, Mon-Fri) with some weekends
