Job summary

ClearBridge Executive Search is seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs across facility and manufacturing equipment. The role supports safe, compliant operations and regulatory standards in the industry.

Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining boilers, chillers, AHUs, gas systems, and fire alarms, plus basic electrical/plumbing tasks and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to 5 years facilities/maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building maintenance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, industrial or regulated environments is valuable.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment independently.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair facility and equipment, perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain and service boilers, chillers, dust collectors, AHUs, compressors, fire alarm systems, and other facility equipment.
• Handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and light construction tasks.
• Diagnose and repair facility/manufacturing equipment; respond to emergencies.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor facility and manufacturing equipment to identify issues.
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors when specialized services are required.
• Maintain work orders, PM checklists, blueprints, permits, and other docs.
• Participate in inspections with FDA, EPA, fire department and utility authorities.
• Provide after-hours/weekend emergency support when needed.

• Multi-trade Work: Handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and light construction tasks.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair facility/manufacturing equipment; respond to emergency repairs.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance per company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring: Monitor facility and manufacturing equipment to identify operational issues.
