Job summary

Paul Mitchell The School in Sacramento is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our campus safe, polished, and running smoothly. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, with a pay rate of $21–$24 per hour and a benefits package that includes dental, vision, sick time, vacation, and more.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily safety and maintenance checklist to keep the building compliant and secure.
• Walk the school to evaluate appearance, functionality, and repair needs.
• Handle light repairs such as replacing light ballasts and bulbs, clearing hair traps, fixing clogged plumbing, painting touch-ups, and other routine maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors for larger projects.
• Receive, organize, and manage maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for students, guests, and staff.
