Job summary

Five Keys Housing Services seeks a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming across our housing sites. You’ll perform routine cleaning, basic repairs, and coordinate with outside contractors to ensure timely maintenance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Applicants must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as with staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in janitorial or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of interior and exterior spaces.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards and repair needs.
• Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
• Maintain janitorial logs and supply inventories.
