Job summary

Tunista Logistics Solutions LLC seeks a General Maintenance Worker to perform base operations and repair tasks at the Rock Island Arsenal project site, ensuring safe and reliable facility operations. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, repairing walls, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building components.

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years in building maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays,

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and inspection (minimum 4 years).
• Ability to use aerial bucket truck, man lifts, and climb ladders.
• Possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in adverse weather and physically fit for demanding tasks.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including MVR.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings with plaster or compound.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets; paint structures and equipment.
• Repair concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks; replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hang doors and install locks; replace broken windowpanes.
• Set up displays, install signs, move furniture and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery; assist higher-level mechanics.
