Facilities Technician

Location: Redmond, WA

Job Description:

Note: Candidates must be U.S. Citizens without Dual Citizenship.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will support various facility operations and production areas.

Responsibilities

1. 80%: Troubleshooting, maintenance, moving, and repair of machinery and equipment (e.g., CNC lathes, mills, grinders, presses, ovens, coating equipment, welders, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems). General building and grounds maintenance, electrical and plumbing system repair, carpentry, reporting issues, evaluating requests, preventative maintenance, and assisting in other facility areas.
2. 10%: Data collection, reporting, inspections, recommendations, and modifications to work areas.
3. 10%: Maintaining a clean work environment, record keeping, and assisting in other facility areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Adherence to safety standards following all laws, regulations, and policies. Use of safety equipment is mandatory.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools, with knowledge of electrical safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel related to job duties.
• Experience with electronic circuit diagrams, logic diagrams, and I/O interfaces.
• Ability to interpret codes, blueprints, and specifications for machinery and facility maintenance.
• Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and be on-call for emergencies.
• Engagement in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person; dual citizenship may disqualify.
• Preferred: Prior facilities or maintenance experience.
• Education: High school diploma.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

The role involves indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions, physical activities such as walking, climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working around noise. Use of PPE may be required. Some travel between company locations or external travel may be necessary. Varying shifts and hours are expected.
