Job summary

InVision Human Services seeks a General Maintenance Staff to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across residential and office locations. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and executing repairs on home sites, with responsibilities spanning electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep.

You will coordinate with Facilities Supervisors and Vendors, ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

One year of experience in residential or commercial facilities maintenance.
Excellent verbal communication and computer proficiency with Outlook required.
Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, and mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance solutions meeting health and safety standards for residential and commercial locations.
Repair/Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Assess and report on household systems: HVAC, appliances.
Secure resources for task completion.
Serve as point-person with outside vendors and provide recommendations to Facilities team.
Perform preventive maintenance on sites.
Complete licensing preparations as required by DPW Reg. 6400.
Complete new residential site property assessments.
Address health/safety issues proactively and report as needed.
