Glenn Metalcraft is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Princeton, MN to support maintenance across the facility and offices. The role involves HVAC servicing, equipment troubleshooting, lighting maintenance, camera system upkeep, and general repairs.

You will work with the Maintenance team to address roofing, grounds, and project needs while ensuring a safe and well-maintained facility footprint. 1st shift, hourly pay, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or lifts.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry and repair work.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance and scheduling of service calls.
• Troubleshoot and service air compressors.
• Maintain interior and exterior lighting across the facility.
• Inspect, monitor, and clean camera systems regularly.
• Carry out general office repairs and patching as needed.
• Oversee groundskeeping and determine repairs or upgrades.
• Address roof leaks and coordinate with external vendors when required.
• Support maintenance projects and collaborate with team members.

• Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly

The mission of the Facilities Maintenance Technician is to provide support to the Maintenance department and Elemet Group through general maintenance and repairs for assigned machines, routine groundskeeping and upkeep of office space and production facilities while supporting the Maintenance Team as needed with special projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform annual and monthly maintenance of HVAC units and make service calls as needed
• Service and trouble shoot air compressors
• Maintain lighting throughout the facility, both indoor and outdoor
• Inspect, monitor, and clean camera systems regularly
• Monitor and perform general routine maintenance or repairs on air compressors, indoor and outdoor lighting, camera systems, plumbing needs, eye wash stations, overhead heaters, outdoor parking and driveways/sidewalks, and other equipment as needed
• Perform general office repairs such as patching and painting of walls, upkeep of office furniture, replacing light switches and outlets
• Take responsibility for general groundskeeping and determine needs for repair, replacement, and upgrading as needed
• Address roof leaks as needed
• Communicate with external lawncare and snow removal companies as needed
• Provide support to Maintenance Department on projects and tasks as needed
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues and needs throughout the facility

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills and Competencies

• Proven mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power and hand tools
• Comfortability with heights and usage of ladders, lifts, and rooftop maintenance
• Basic knowledge of general carpentry and repair
• High level of organizational and time management skillsInnate desire to stay busy and drive to continuously work towards a high-functioning organization
• Experience working in manufacturing facility a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 lbs. consistently
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
• Ability to consistently wear personal protective equipment
• Standing, walking, and bending consistently
• Periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
