Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain building systems in a premier healthcare environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support safe, efficient operation to ensure patient comfort and safety. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and opportunities for growth within a global real estate services leader.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school diploma optional with 1–2 years related experience.
  • Driver's license required.
  • Able to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+).
  • Follow basic work routines and standards; communicate clearly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and repair.
  • Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
  • Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
  • Inspect installations for code compliance and safety regulations.
  • Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems.
  • Deliver output following processes under supervision.

What You’ll Do


  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.

  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.

  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.

  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.

  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.



What You’ll Need


  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Driver's license required.

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
