Job summary

DCD Automotive/Nucar is seeking experienced Facilities Management Technicians in Norwood, MA. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, punctual and personable, with the ability to perform maintenance, troubleshoot equipment and communicate clearly.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; at least 2 years trade experience; HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical experience is a plus. DCD Automotive/Nucar is a drug free, Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to complete all specified maintenance work assigned by Facilities Management personnel.
• Reviews plans, specifications etc. for new or ongoing construction projects or renovations for the company.
• Performs troubleshooting and replacement of malfunctioning equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance work, as assigned.
• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials of up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Is required to maintain a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as established by the Company's insurance provider.
• Must read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate.
