Job summary

DCD Automotive/Nucar in Norwood, MA seeks experienced Facilities Management Technicians to join our on-site team. You will perform maintenance, review project plans, troubleshoot equipment, and support renovations to keep our facilities safe and compliant.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, at least 2 years in a trades role (HVAC, carpentry, or electrical a plus), and a valid driver's license. Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years specified trade experience.
• HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete all specified maintenance work assigned by Facilities Management personnel.
• Review plans, specifications for new or ongoing construction projects or renovations for the company.
• Perform troubleshooting and replacement of malfunctioning equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance work as assigned.
• Must be able to lift and move materials up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible to complete all specified maintenance work assigned by Facilities Management personnel. Is required to maintain a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as established by the Company's insurance provider. Must read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing. Must be able to effectively communicate.

Education and/or experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 years specified trade experience. HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical experience a plus.
