Job summary

Model 1 Commercial Vehicles in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping our facilities and equipment safe, reliable, and well-maintained. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with vendors to ensure efficient operations.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related field.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced vehicle or facility maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update work orders in the system.
  • Assist in installation, modification, and relocation of equipment or systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and team members for specialized repairs.
  • Maintain tools, supplies, and spare parts inventory in organized condition.
  • Support facility improvement projects and provide input on maintenance planning.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Duties
