Job summary

Sunday River Resort in Newry, ME is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our resort facilities in top condition. You will handle repairs, preventive upkeep, and basic carpentry, drywall, paint, and leak fixes to ensure a smooth guest experience.

You will also manage grounds care, perform daily facility checks, and respond rapidly to maintenance requests while adhering to OSHA safety standards. A high school diploma and at least one year of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Minimum of one year of relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair & maintenance: perform minor carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, leak fixes, and troubleshooting for facilities systems.
• Grounds care: shovel snow, mow lawns, and maintain landscaping.
• Facility checks: conduct daily maintenance rounds and logs across front-of-house, back-of-house, and exterior areas.
• Rapid response: address maintenance requests from guests and team members promptly and professionally.
• Safety first: follow policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe environment.

• Grounds Care: Shovel snow, mow lawns, and keep landscaping looking its best.
• Facility Checks: Conduct daily maintenance rounds and logs, ensuring smooth operations across front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house, and exterior areas.
• Rapid Response: Address maintenance requests from guests and team members with efficiency and professionalism.
• Safety First: Follow Sunday River’s policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
