Job summary

Natural Choice Foods in Marne, MI is seeking a Facilities Team Member to support the maintenance and safety of our stores and corporate office. You will coordinate repairs, maintenance tasks, and work with contractors to keep facilities safe, compliant, and efficient.

The role requires 3+ years in facilities maintenance, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to off-site locations as needed. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certifications preferred.
• 3+ years experience in facilities maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license; periodic travel to off-site locations.
• Must obtain and maintain electric pallet jack, forklift, and scissor lift certifications.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security).
• Proficient in basic math and measurements.
• Ability to follow procedures, troubleshoot, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings with painting, plumbing, electrical work, roof repairs, and carpentry; coordinate with vendors for repairs and inspections.
• Oversee grounds maintenance, snow/ice removal, and repair of driveways and signs.
• Lead safety checks on emergency equipment and follow USDA/FDA/MDARD regulations.
• Maintain maintenance logs, safety reports, and inspection records.
• Serve as main contact for facilities-related issues at all Daily Deals locations; respond to emergencies.
• Perform basic maintenance on forklifts and other equipment; coordinate major repairs with vendors.
• Backup for diagnosing and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform other duties as required.
