Weyland Ventures in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The role maintains and repairs facilities for commercial and multi-unit residential properties, executes work orders promptly, and helps ensure curb appeal and first impressions.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep, plus a valid driver's license for local travel.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a maintenance technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; local travel required.

Position Summary

This position maintains and repairs facilities for commercial and multi-unit residential properties, executes work orders in a timely manner, and ensures the properties maintain excellent curb appeal and first impressions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Surveys buildings, ensuring consistency with health and safety standards.
• Conducts general upkeep and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, plumbing, appliance install, drywall repair, windows, etc.)
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Shares on-call rotation
• Other duties as assigned.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments homes for move-ins.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Minimum high school or GED required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC systems
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations are a plus!
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician
• Deadline, detail, and customer service-oriented
• Strong knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (position requires local travel)
