Job summary

ABM Industries in Los Angeles area seeks Facilities Technicians to support mission-critical infrastructure for a leading client in eMobility. Ideal candidates have handyman skills, basic hand tools, and experience using CMMS like Corrigo or ServiceNow.

Monday–Friday schedules, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Position requires a minimum of 2 years in facilities or similar environments, strong collaboration with engineers, managers, and vendors, and a focus on safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar environment or facility management setting.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks and hand tools.
• Familiarity with work order systems (Corrigo, ServiceNow, or similar).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with facility managers, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to meeting service level agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman tasks, including patching and painting walls.
• Install corner guards and kick plates; replace ceiling tiles; basic carpentry repairs.
• Repair or replace carpet; hang/install pictures, electronics, and anchors.
• Door repairs (handles, closures); exterior pressure washing; dusting and cleaning.
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs (unclog sinks/toilets, replace flush sensors, faucets).
• Support engineering team with tasks such as HVAC filter replacement and lighting maintenance.
• Inventory management and restocking supplies; manage and close work orders in Corrigo or similar systems (SLA-focused).
• Perform site inspections (daily/weekly/monthly) to maintain client standards; engage with occupants for repairs and ticket updates.
• Escort vendors and assist with event setup/furniture moves as needed.

ABM is seeking motivated Facilities Technicians to join our growing team and support mission-critical infrastructure for a leading client in the eMobility industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a handyman skillset, familiarity with basic hand tools, and experience using CMMS or work order systems (such as Corrigo or ServiceNow).

Pay:

$42.00 per Hour

The pay listed is the Hourly range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 7am-4:30pm or 8am-5:30pm
